Air Caster Load Moving Kit Systems

They include everything you are going to need to be up and running quickly - right out of the box. This includes all air line hoses complete with quick disconnect fittings, all valves and any other hardware required to operate the system. Low Profile Air Casters Load Moving Equipment

To the right is a low profile air caster kit system. Being low profile, it has a much lesser module height / ground clearance requirements than the standatd square aluminum or round steel air caster kits.

The low profile allows the load modules to simply slide under their loads - and only require a ground clearance of around 1.5 inches. Low profile air caster load moving kits also have a remote control unit included as standard.

The vertical lift data indicates the approximate additional height to which the module will rise when energized with compressed air.

For example: A low profile aluminum module with B12N air bearing on board will have an "Air Off" height of 1¼" but when the bearing is energized with compressed air, it will rise in height to 2".

Air Beams with Fitted Air Casters

Air Beams - also known as Air Planks are specialized load moving tools that are designed to fit underneath specific loads that may have odd shapes and requires extra attention. The air beams are designed to slide underneath a load and take up a position that can support varying aspects of the load where larger areas of support is required. Air beams or planks start at around 3ft in length and can range anywhere in between up to 12 ft long. They are ideal for moving containers and other similar long and thin type loads around warehouses and similar buildings.

Air beams / planks are fitted with regular standard Hovair A-type air bearings for normal use and where they are light enough to manually place them at the load site. However, if the weight capacity is larger, then the beams will be fitted with B-type air bearings with a high/low air regulator which, when switched to low air supply, will allow the air beam(s) the flexibility to float on the floor surface and be pushed to the load site. Please ask your Hovair contact for details of this option.

To the right (top) you can see an example of a pair of air beams with their air flow control system highlighted. At the bottom is a pair of air beams fitted with air casters and individual air flow control valves for each air bearing fitted.

Aluminum Lightweight Air Pallet Transporters

One of Hovair's most popular products is the lightweight aluminum air pallet trasporter. These air caster equipped transporters can be easily lifted manually (two people) and placed near the load area. If fitted with high lift B-type air bearings, these transporters are capable of sliding underneath a load and lifting it clear of it base before moving it off to its destination.

Fitted with one-screw pneumatic air bearings they are ideal for use in warehouse and other similar locations. They are clean and safe to use and only need a 95 psi source of compressed air to keep them going.

Aluminum Air Pallets

Another great workhorse for regular warehouse and factory work. Fitted with four air casters and a rear control handle where you can push and steer the load, as well as make adjustments to the air flow control of the system - all from one central location.

Hovair Systems are able to apply a degree of customization to these products to ensure that our customers get exactly what they want. Air pallets are relatively low profile also, and if fitted with B-type high-lift air bearings they can slide gently underneath a load to lift it from its base and move it to its destination.
