High-Heat A-type Air Bearings
Hovair Systems have recently introduced a new high-heat air bearing to complement their air caster load moving
equipment.
What is a high-heat air bearing? A high-heat air bearing is an air bearing with a different
type of diaphragm to the regular bearings. They are still in the A-type category, but the diaphragm material
is produced with a material that is resistant to heat up to 300° in comparison with the regular diaphragm bearings
which can withstand up to 120° or so.
High-heat air bearings are fitted to the air caster load module in exactly the same way as their regular A-type
counterparts.

Here are some of the properties of a high-heat air bearing:
- Can withstand heat up to 300° F.
- Connects to the air caster load modules the same way as other A-type bearings.
- Single hex-head center bolt fitting.
- Uses the same backing plate as the A-type.
- Diaphragm is white to differentiate from our other models.
