How Are Air Casters Powered?
Air casters are powered pneumatically with compressed air. Generally the compressed
air needs to be clean and filtered. Most modern shop compressors have filters attached that ensure the
outgoing air is clean and free of particluate.
Most companies have compressors installed in their works, and if so, apart from the generating of the air, the
air caster load moving equipment will run at virtually no cost. There is no
electricity* required, nor do you need propane or other gasses, diesel or oil of any
sort. Just plug in a compressed air line and off you go. It really is that easy!

Anyone contemplating the purchase of an air caster load moving system and does not have a
compressor, can contact Hovair Systems who are main dealers for Chicago Air Compressors, and can supply one as part
of their order.
* Unless electricity is required to power the source compressor.
